Canadian ski jumpers take bronze at Olympics
On February 7th, 2022, Canadian olympians Abigail Strate, 20, Alexandria Loutitt, 18, Matthew Soukup, 24, and Mackenzie Boyd-Clowes, 30, captured the bronze medal in the first-ever mixed team ski jumping competition at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. These amazing Canadian athletes have also made history as they are the first Canadians to ever win a medal in the sport, nearly 100 years since its debut. Their accomplishment truly underlines the dedication that they put into the sport.
