Canada beats Russian Olympic Committee 6-1 in women’s hockey after hour-long game delay

On February 7th, 2022, the women’s hockey game between Russian Olympic Committee against Canada was delayed for over an hour due to a delay in COVID-19 testing, as Russia’s team spent two days isolating upon their arrival in Beijing last week because of a coronavirus outbreak. Despite the delay, Canada’s women’s hockey team scored a 6-1 win over Russia women’s hockey team in the Beijing’s Olympic Games.
