October 31, 1940, 81 years ago, marked the end of the Battle of Britain between Britain and Germany that occurred for 4 months, with the victory of the Royal Air Force. It is also known as the Air Battle of Britain since it was one of the first large-scale military campaigns in history to be fought in the air. We shall honour the courage and sacrifices of Canadian and Allied forces who fought during this air battle.
