The event was very heart-warming. The swearing-in ceremony for the recruit cadets occurred on November 16, 2022. To most, the ceremony was a significant leap in their cadet career and journey. Every recruit felt the honor of being recognized by King Charles as Royal Canadian Air Cadets as they placed their left hand on the flag, and right hand in the air and swore the oath. I, a recruit myself – also participated in the swearing-in ceremony, and I have to say, I felt proud of myself and my peers. We had stuck together from the beginning, and now we were officially sworn in and part of the cadet family. We all anticipate what holds for us in the future.
